Cattail’s Reflection

Cattail’s Reflection

Looking in the water,
What do you see?
Is that my face looking back at me?

Peering in the water,
What do you see?
Father’s creation peering back at me.

Pondering this water,
What do I see?
Sin and forgiveness, setting me free! (excitedly)
Grace and mercy, letting me “BE!” (delightedly)
Jesus loves me – abundantly! (joyously)

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.  Genesis 1:27

My friends, I wish I had the energy to talk about this tonight.  I have fallen asleep several times as I typed this up.  But for now, just consider this a token of my love and know that I have not forgotten you.  It was inspired by a photo that a friend had taken.  When I saw the reflection of cattails in the water, being made I the likeness and image of God came to mind and this little poem was seeded.  I hope you like it.  🙂 Good night now … and sweet dreams.

Sleep Sound in Jesus, dear ones,
Sondra
